Hello Melissa and Mike. Thank you for this, I enjoyed reading it. You have some good ideas for your writing and have found some interesting ways of adding detail. I especially liked the “chomping noise”. I agree with Mrs Hames, I think you had a great idea about what the monkeys were doing and the mix up thinking it was the wind but it got a little muddled when you came to write it up. Always go back and check that someone new to your writing will be able to fully understand.
